青が象徴的な荒浜で、藍を育てて青を収穫するプロジェクト「ARAHAMA BLUE PROJECT」。前回の7/30に続いて、9/24に二番刈りと生葉染めを行いました。
今回もとてもよく晴れました。前回残しておいた藍だけでなく、刈りとった後の藍もしっかり育っています。

ここからが時間のかかる作業。刈り取った藍から状態の良い葉っぱだけを選別します。水を足しながらジューサーで細かく砕き、染色液に仕上げます。

いよいよ布を染めていきます。2分間漬け込み、2分間空気に晒す、これを10セット。時間がかかりますが、ここはじっくりと進めます。
